So, today i was having a quiet stroll in the center of Milan and decided to get a look at the foreign magazines at the nearest store...i start going trough the pages of Oyster magazine and i see an article about that girl, Cory Kennedy. I decided to buy Nylon (in which she writes a column) and kept my stroll looking for a forniture shop. Then i come back home, have a light lunch and then sit in front of my computer and my friend Meg starts telling me that she met Cory Kennedy at a yard sale that was organized by Thecobrasnake, Uffie and Cory herself....this girl Cory is starting to become an obsession to me, i see her everywhere, she's really the "unknown known" (it's a noun i invented for people who suddenly become famous even if they didn't do anything) of this period.

She became famous thanks to her ex-boyfriend Mark Hunter, the photographer and owner of the Cobra Snake who once saw her at a Blood Brothers' concert and posted pics of her on his website and started dating her....suddenly she was at every cool party, every exhibition, every fashion show...and the viewers of the site loved her more thna anything. She's just 16 but she's already popular for her style; she love mixing vintage pieces with designer ones but she does it in a different way i guess, à la Kate Moss. She likes playing with clothes and she' lucky to be a pretty girl: the result is she looks always stylish and funny!

Well, going back to what i was saying before: the poeple are getting crazy for this teenager. They always visit her blog, the add her on myspace, they never get enough of her... and i have to admit i'm becoming a fan of hers too.

What i consider unusual and kinda stressful for such a young girl is the fact that she basically was suddenly throwed into a crazy world and started hanging out with people like lindsay lohan, paris hilton and  called for photoshoots for magazines, etc. It must be hard...well paid but hard anyway.

You can spot her wearing Marni accessories, second-hand tees, chanel frocs and designer bags...it's the way she mixes it all up that made her popular among the fashionistas and of course the fact that she's at every cool party in town...i want to know your opinion.
